Questions
What counts as an AI action?+
Each time Recursive writes something for you: breaking a topic down, finding resources, writing a set of flashcards or a quiz, or answering a question about a notebook page. Reviewing cards, taking quizzes from your own decks and searching don't count.
What does fair use mean on Pro?+
Pro is meant for heavy everyday studying. If usage goes far beyond that, AI may slow down for the rest of the billing period. We don't cut you off.
What is an active outline?+
Any outline you haven't archived. On Free you can keep three going at once. Archive one when you're done with it and it stays readable, and the slot opens up for a new one.
How does the semester plan work?+
You pay once for four months, which covers a typical term. It works out cheaper per month than paying monthly.
Does one subscription cover web, iPad and iPhone?+
Yes. Sign in with the same Apple or Google account everywhere and Pro unlocks on every device, wherever you bought it.
Can my study group members stay on Free?+
Yes. Only the person who creates a group needs Pro. Up to eight people can join, on any plan.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes. You keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for, then move back to Free. Your outlines, notebooks and cards stay yours.
